Industrial Computed Radiography (CR) provides the advantages of digital image processing while retaining the flexibility of radiographic inspection using reusable imaging plates. The exposed imaging plate is processed digitally, allowing images to be enhanced, analysed, stored and electronically transmitted. CR can improve inspection workflow, image management and reporting efficiency while reducing many of the limitations associated with traditional film-based radiography. For clients, this means faster access to inspection results, improved data traceability and more efficient long-term management of radiographic records.
