Eddy Current Testing provides a rapid and highly sensitive method of examining non-ferromagnetic heat exchanger and condenser tubes. The technique can identify defects such as pitting, cracking, wall loss and other discontinuities by analysing changes in the electromagnetic field generated within the tube. With high data acquisition speeds, large tube populations can be inspected efficiently, making the technique particularly valuable during shutdowns and turnaround projects. NNDT provides clients with detailed inspection results that assist in identifying tubes requiring plugging, repair or further investigation while helping reduce unnecessary downtime.
