FIELD SURVEYS
Field surveys provide the essential data required to evaluate the effectiveness and condition of an existing cathodic protection system. NNDT conducts specialised field investigations to identify areas of inadequate protection, abnormal electrical behaviour and potential corrosion threats, providing clients with the information required to make informed integrity decisions.
DESIGN
NNDT provides cathodic protection design services tailored to the specific characteristics and operating requirements of each asset. Design considerations include the pipeline or structure, environmental conditions, coating system, current requirements and long term protection objectives with the aim of delivering an effective and maintainable CP system.
INSTALLATION — INCLUDING EPC
NNDT provides cathodic protection installation services, including Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) solutions where required. From system components and electrical connections through to installation and integration, our approach provides clients with a single point of responsibility for implementing their cathodic protection requirements.
COMMISSIONING & TROUBLESHOOTING
Effective commissioning is essential to ensure that a cathodic protection system is operating as designed. NNDT provides commissioning, testing and troubleshooting services to identify incorrect system performance, electrical faults, interference and other conditions that may compromise protection. Our objective is to ensure that systems achieve the required operating performance before being placed into service.
MONITORING
Ongoing monitoring is critical to maintaining effective cathodic protection throughout the life of an asset. NNDT provides monitoring services to assess system performance and identify changes that may indicate deterioration, interference, inadequate protection or equipment malfunction. Regular monitoring allows clients to identify developing issues early and implement corrective action before they become significant integrity concerns.
